Kathleen McIntyre passion for photography started at an early age and she often finds herself focusing on the kind of things that tend to go unseen, offering her viewers a different way of looking at and appreciating our surroundings. Capturing moods and details from daily life. Never preimagined. Everything you see is what she sees in the camera. Kathleen officially entered the world of photography in 1996 with her debut exhibition /Tomrom/ at Café Olsen in Oslo. She has studied under master photographers Morten Krogvold, Michael Ackerman, Arno Rafael Minkinnen and Joyce Tenneson.

Kathleen´s mentor, Morten Krogvold, wrote the introduction of /Second Shadow/

/This is a beautiful book. To settle in this grey tenderness is so fascinating. In our time, where everyone is screaming for attention, Kathleen takes it all down and simply whispers. These photographs should be seen over and over again/

Kathleen will be signing her book at the PUG BookCafé at Fotomessen//

Friday March 2nd at 12.00
